It&#8217;s a logitech USB headphone, so I wrote the company, expecting a little help to solve the problem&#8230;. that was over a week ago and not a single reply. I still have to see if it will work with my linux machine. But generally my experience with it on XP is a total waste of time (I am being polite). So here are the lies that are going around.<\/p>\n<p>1. All versions of XP with Service Pack 2 supports USB headsets&#8230; FALSE<br \/>2. You can get support from Microsoft&#8230; FALSE. My version of XP is an OEM which Microsoft says they will not support unless you pay them.<br \/>3. You get support from Logitech&#8230; FALSE. I love logitech products more than Microsoft but this experience has taught me they are as much fucking assholes as Microsoft.<br \/>4.
