Bessie Love (September 10, 1898 – April 26, 1986) was an American motion picture actress who achieved prominence mainly in the silent films and early talkies. With a small frame and delicate features, she played innocent young girls, flappers, and wholesome leading ladies. Her role in The Broadway Melody (1929) earned her a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Actress. In addition to her acting career, she wrote the screenplay for the 1919 film A Yankee Princess. – Wikipedia
After stumbling across this actress from yesteryear. I have to declare that she is absolutely beautiful. So I took the liberty of lifting one of her black and white photos from the internet and colorizing it in photoshop. I am by no means a professional at this but I do like the outcome, and it may even pass for a very old color photo but not a color photo by modern standards. But she is beautiful.
